Kind of 'old fashioned', he tries to make real-men out of the members of his team and doesn't look well upon women in the army, believing they should "shot brownies" out of their guns. Constantly degrading his subordinates, Sarge still always comes through for them and is the first to lead the charge into battle with hopes of dieing a hero's death...but not before he kills Grif.
